Watch shopping has always been a conundrum for me do I spend the money for a quality watch or do I go for the tried and true Timex or Casio watch that I know is going to last at least a year and I know that if I loose it it won’t really matter to me. Â
I was shopping today as were about a few million people on this Memorial Day for values and found The Watchery. Â The Watchery specializes in high end watches they are advertising this watches for 40 to 60 % off. Â This puts the Citizen brand and a few others almost within reach. Â Well heading back over to the Watchery to Dream some more.

Watched the movie The Wrestler for which Mickie Rourke won (rather was nominated for) an Oscar for his performance as Randy “The Ram” Robinson. Â The gritty realism and almost documentary layout of the movie was captivating. Â It was excellent and at once disheartening to watch a disillusioned person making their way through life, and made one respect the concept of looking to a greater purpose for life than ones career calling.
People loose things in their lives and those who have something to hang on to make it through, those who only are hanging on to what they lost sometimes don’t…

Cugini’s Italian Market, has a great selection of specialty Italian Food items, made on site sausages, pepperoni, pastas, and a great selection of wines for those so inclined. Â You are met by people who know their food, both in supplying your cooking needs and in making some of the nicest Italian foods well this side of Italy. Â The seating is limited, so much the better for the lucky few who know of their existence. Â There are 4 tables inside and on these lovely spring days, and going into summer they have a nice back patio for outside dining and wine tasting as it suits you. Â
We used to drive to Seattle, Portland or at least the Tri Cities to get good Italian food but now we have a new favorite right here in town.

This spring has brought about for me many life changes and one of them has been paying more attention to what goes into my body. Â I am getting older 45, and as the years roll on I am noticing that recovery time from work outs, hikes or martial arts training is taking a bit longer, thus the changes.
One of the things that we have done is bought a juicer from Andy’s Market, it is called a Champion Juicer and it does a great job of juicing everything for us from Carrots and Beats, to Apples and Oranges. Â Oranges well that brings us to the topic of the day. Â
We started buying cases of oranges as I have found that to make 4 cups of juice in the Champion Juicer takes about 6 to 8 Navel Oranges. Â A couple of months ago we bought navel oranges for about $13.50 per case and they were perfect juicy and very tasty. Â Well now the last visit to Andy’s they were $22.00 and they are woody and very little juice and what is there is not good.
My lesson is to buy and live on Oranges in Season and become a bit more of a grazer change the content of my diet as the food sources become less available or more expensive. Â
My SUGGESTION to Andy’s Market is if you are going to practice this kind of price increase at least have your staff taste the Oranges to make sure of quality before pricing things at such an egregious rate.
Andy’s by the way is a wonderful source for bulk foods and fresh stuff of all varieties. Â Good people good stuff. Â Watch the prices on Oranges though.
