Walla Walla Ski Swap – October 24 and 25, 2009
For some of the best deals, Ski Swaps are the a great place to find used ski and snowboard equipment and clothing. If you looking for equipment for your young kids, you better plan on getting their early.
Wear Your Helmet: For your safety a helmet is your friend. It will protect you and keep you warm as many of them have fleece or other warm inserts to keep your head warm.
New and Used Equipment: At many ski swaps some local ski shops will sell NEW equipment that may be a previous years model. These are also very good deals, but it’s the USED equipment for kids or beginners that are the real bargains and purposes for the swaps.

I have been to them before, as they were previously recommended to me to trouble shoot some electrical issues with a prior vehicle. Recently our Ford Windstar Mini Van was experiencing some very odd electrical behavior. What seemed like random lights staying on when the car was turned off and the key was out of the ignition. With the light staying on the battery would run down and we could not start the vehicle in the mornings. For a couple days, before we could get the car in for service we had to pull a Fuse or two or disconnect the battery cable. Neither of these options were going to be long term.
With it being another electrical issue, I decided to call Total Tune-Up again to see when we could get it looked at. They were able to schedule it in pretty quickly. With cars being controlled almost entirely by computer it took a fair amount of testing to define the issue. When your are looking at buying a $400+ part, you want to be pretty confident that that is the part that really needs to be replaced. They diagnosed it to be the “rear computer” for our Ford Windstar.
Once the part had been replaced, the Windstar was back to normal or as normal as a 1999 Ford Windstar can be. So if you have any electrical or other issues with your vehicle I recommend “Total Tune-Up”.
This is a great saying from a teacher of mine.
